Gilmore Acting Studio in Seattle Washington offers acting classes based on The Meisner Technique. The classes are designed for the serious acting student at any level of experience or training.

The Meisner Technique opens a human being at the core of their creativity, giving them access to the truth within themselves, and the ability to bring that truth to their work as actors/artists/craftsmen.

Classes at Gilmore Acting Studio consist of fundamental Meisner exercises and scene work with added emphasis on cold reading, monologues and auditioning - forming a solid foundation to work from in the future.

All classes are taught by Gregg Gilmore.

Gregg Gilmore studied acting under Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, Robert X. Modica at his studio in Carnegie Hall and William Alderson at The Alderson Acting Studio in Hollywood. Gilmore is also a graduate of The Ruskin School of Acting in Santa Monica, CA. where he was a member of the master class taught by Anthony Hopkins.
